The Mind of Doctor Barabasi

About

The Mind of Doctor Barabasi is a 2-4 player resource management game similar to Risk. Each player starts with 1 node containing 2 "Phages" (Units) on a bi-directional graph. The objective of the game is to fully eradicate every other player. This can be accomplished by performing a collection of offensive and defensive moves available to your faction.

Moves

1) Split

Splits phage count in half and sends it to a target node. If the target is an enemy, it will have a phage count equal to the difference between the two.

2) Propagate

Scatter half of your phages from the source node randomly to each neighboring node.

3) Consolidate

Consolidates a phage from each neighbor into the source node.

4) Fortify

Sets a node into a defensive stance. For 2 turns, do nothing. At the start of the 3rd turn, gain 4 phages.

5) Invest

Similar to Fortify. Sacrifices 3 phages for the cause. For 3 turns, do nothing. At the start of the 4th turn, gain 6 phages.

6) Leech

Steals a phage from a neighboring enemy node.
